Benefits of Membership in SALUTE at Central Piedmont

The benefits of membership include:

• a certificate and military-style challenge coin commemorating membership
• access to unique scholarship opportunities, assistance with resumes, and engagement in local leadership positions
• opportunities to network, as well as receive and give assistance to fellow student veteran members
• wear SALUTE Honors regalia to demonstrate academic achievements as a veteran at graduation
• participate in local and national SALUTE programs

How to Join the Chapter of SALUTE at Central Piedmont

To be eligible to apply, veteran students must:

• have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and completion of six or more credit hours
• agree to abide by the SALUTE National Honor Society Executive Steering Committee guidelines
• submit unofficial transcripts with annotated GPA and a copy of military orders/DD-214 member-4 with Honorable Discharge
• pay a $45 student membership fee once your membership application has been reviewed and accepted
