Opt-out of the IncludED program
All students taking college-level classes are automatically added to IncludED Textbook Access with the $24 per credit hour fee; however, you may opt out prior to the 10% point of the session.
- Note that the program is “all in” or “all out” for the semester, and you cannot opt out of an individual class.
- If opting out, you are responsible for obtaining access to the course materials and for completion of all work assigned by the instructor of each class you take.
- Students who opt out on or before the 10% point of the session will have a credit for the fee placed on your financial account. After the 10% point of the course, there are no refunds.
Opt-Out Instructions
- Stay alert for an email from Follett, Central Piedmont’s bookstore provider, for full opt-out instructions. This email will go to your student email account.
- Access the Follett portal, and create an account with your Central Piedmont student email address and a unique password.
- Review the course materials required for your entire term, and choose whether to opt out, following the prompts. You will receive a confirmation email if you complete the opt-out process.
