Central Piedmont is an American Welding Society (AWS) accredited welding certification test facility that provides testing for both individuals and companies.
What Does the AWS Welding Certification Test Include?
The certified welder testing program is performance-based with no prerequisite courses or certifications required. Final certification will provide "transferrable" credentials. It tests procedures used in the structural steel, petroleum pipelines, sheet metal, and chemical refinery welding industries.
The certified welder testing program is open to welding students who are pursuing certification in one of the following areas:
