Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for acceptance at Strayer University, you must:

  • complete the A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degree at Central Piedmont

  • remain in good standing, academic and otherwise, with Central Piedmont

  • meet the residency and graduation requirements of Central Piedmont according to your catalog of entry

  • earn a "C" or better in all courses you intend to transfer. A status of incomplete (“I”) or Pass (“P”) will not be considered.

  • you may receive transfer credit for courses with "D" grade provided the course does not alter requirements of your major of study and Strayer University graduation requirements.

Admissions

You must meet all the admission requirements of Strayer University, including completion of the application, submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended, and payment of the application fee.

You must fill out the Strayer University application for admission.

Central Piedmont students who graduate with an A.A., A.S. or A.A.S. degree, are applying to a related program at Strayer University, and have a Central Piedmont curriculum GPA of at least 2.0 are guaranteed admission to Strayer University.

Once admitted, you are subject to all other policies and procedures, including residency requirements of Strayer University, as outlined in the Strayer University catalog.
