General Information About the Test

The PN Comprehensive Predictor consists of 180 test questions and covers fundamentals of nursing, pharmacology, adult medical surgical nursing, maternal newborn care, mental health nursing, pediatric nursing, nutrition, and management. Each section is timed. The total time for the test is four hours.

Due to the difficulty of the test and the competitive nature of the programs, it is recommended that you speak to an academic advisor or healthcare program faculty member to make sure the PN Comprehensive Predictor is right for you.

It is your responsibility to review and understand the information on this page carefully. Scheduling more than one test within a 30-day period will result in the latest appointment(s) being canceled.

PN Comprehensive Predictor Overview

Do not schedule multiple appointments for the same day. It is extremely important that you carefully follow the instructions on this page before scheduling the PN Comprehensive Predictor.

The PN Comprehensive Predictor is a high-demand test, and space is limited. Testing Center volume increases substantially prior to semester breaks, end of terms, during registration periods, and as program deadlines approach. Plan accordingly to avoid testing delays.

Retake Policy

Testing at a Non-Central Piedmont Location OR Testing for A Different School

If you tested at a location other than Central Piedmont, it is highly recommended that you update your ATI account with your Central Piedmont ID; scores received without a Central Piedmont ID number may cause a delay in processing. Please confirm that the Central Piedmont Testing Center receives your scores.

If you took the PN Comprehensive Predictor at a different school and would like your results transferred to Central Piedmont, please contact ATI. ATI will send your official results to the Central Piedmont Testing Center. Once received, the Testing Center may print a copy of your scores for you. You will need to provide a valid photo ID.

If you are testing for a school other than Central Piedmont, you must contact ATI to have your scores sent to the school of your choice.
