Requirements

To be considered for admission at Winthrop University, you must:

• complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree at Central Piedmont
• complete the Winthrop University application form
• remain in good standing (academic and otherwise) with Central Piedmont
• meet the residency and graduation requirements of Central Piedmont according to your catalog of entry
• maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 

You will receive transfer credit for courses taken at Central Piedmont according to the equivalency list. To receive credit for a course, a student must have earned a “C” or better. A status of incomplete (“I”) or Pass (“P”) will not be considered for transfer.

Admissions

• You must meet all the admission requirements of Winthrop University, including completion of the application, submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended, a written personal statement, and payment of the application fee.
• Central Piedmont students must fill out Winthrop University's application for admission.
