General Requirements
To be considered for the Meredith College Strong Futures program, you must:
- Complete the program inquiry form.
- Complete the A.A. or A.S. degree at Central Piedmont in the semester immediately preceding the desired entry term at Meredith College. A.A.S. degrees with previously agreed-to bilateral agreements are also applicable.
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.50 in your college coursework.
- Students who earn a grade of D or F in a course prior to applying to Meredith College will not be considered for direct admission.
- Students who remain eligible during their time at Central Piedmont and successfully submit the application to Meredith College will receive at least $10,000 in aid to attend Meredith College. Students must be enrolled in a full-time course load to be eligible.
- Students must remain in good standing (academic and otherwise) with Central Piedmont.
Transfer Requirements
Following is a list of requirements to transfer to Meredith College:
- You must meet all the admission requirements of the agreement for Meredith College, including completion of the application, submission of official transcripts from all institutions attended, and a written personal statement.
- You must meet the minimum GPA requirements, which will be verified by periodic credit evaluations at Central Piedmont. These include:
- after the first two semesters
- at the completion of this third semester
- a final review during the application process and completed before you complete your initial advising appointment with Meredith College before enrolling
- You must meet the residency and graduation requirements of Central Piedmont according to our catalog of entry.
- You will receive transfer credit for courses taken at Central Piedmont according to the equivalency list. To receive credit for a course, a student must have earned a “C” or better. A status of incomplete (“I”) or Pass (“P”) will not be considered for transfer.
