Apprenticeships

If you're serious about jump-starting your career, becoming an apprentice can reward you in many ways.

National Apprenticeship Week

November 17-23, 2024

National Apprenticeship Week is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the vital role apprenticeships play in developing a skilled workforce. As the demand for talent in the Charlotte market continues to grow, partnering with Central Piedmont can be the key to securing a reliable talent pipeline. With the registered apprenticeship model, we bridge the gap between students and industry, providing an earn-while-you-learn experience that benefits both.

If you're interested in learning more about how Central Piedmont can support your workforce needs and connect you with dedicated, skilled students, send us an email.

Apprenticeships combine coursework with paid, on-the-job training at one company over one to four years. Central Piedmont is the educational partner of many apprenticeship programs. Occupations range from healthcare to manufacturing.

There are three components to a registered apprenticeship: on-the-job training, a progressive wage scale, and education. Workplace Learning can help connect you. Also, in some cases, you can get your Central Piedmont tuition and fees covered.
