- Negotiating with Sharks - April 13, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Whether you're in the tank or pitching to local angel investors you need to know how to structure and negotiate a deal. Find out what angels look for, how to prepare and even when to walk away. Learn about business valuation, setting reasonable terms and securing the best deal. Presented by Dan Gotte, partner at Fuse Financial Partners, former Executive Director of IMAF Charlotte region angel fund and entrepreneur.
- Planning Your Pitch - April 18, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Prepare, prepare, prepare. Shark Tank coming to Charlotte presents a potential life-changing opportunity for you and your business. You get that opportunity to pitch. Now what? How do you begin to craft your pitch? What will investors want to know? What do you need to include in those few precious minutes? Learn how to use the “power of story” to engage your audience with a clear and concise pitch presented by Juan Garzon, Messaging Strategist and Director of PitchBreakfast.
- Perfecting Your Pitch - April 20, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
A good pitch can be life changing for your business and we all know practice makes perfect. In this open session, you will have three minutes to deliver your pitch in front of entrepreneurial peers and receive feedback from successful entrepreneurs and business coaches. Gain confidence, polish your delivery and get ready to hop into the tank or pitch to local investors.
