Central Piedmont career planning and job training programs combine College and Career Readiness classes with job training, career planning, interview and resume prep, free occupational training, real work experience, internships, soft skills certification, as well as opportunities to finish high school while completing an occupational certificate.

    Live in the Charlotte region and are unemployed, underemployed, or limited to low-wage jobs? Accelerated Career Training offers the opportunity to attain meaningful employment through fast job training in high-growth career paths.

    Your free gateway to education, job training, and employment. Earn $1,500 while you work and learn. Open to young adults ages 16–24 with one or more barriers to employment.

SECU Bridge to Career Scholarship Program

Are you ready to launch your career in a high-demand field? The NC State Employees Credit Union (SECU) is awarding $500 scholarships for eligible students enrolling in short-term, career-focused training in phlebotomy, truck driving (CDL), and welding through its Bridge to Career program.
